So, what's the buzz about this place? The food good? Well, yes - it is. The vibe and service is also a stand out with one of the owners Dave and the staff as welcoming as they come in the cafe world. The menu is on the money and Mamma loves the different rooms and pram friendly spaces to get comfy and enjoy some pumping cafe action. It is always busy with folks from all over Melbourne keen to fill their faces with what Dave is dishing out, he knows his food and what his patrons want to eat. For Mamma and the crew the staff are accommodating with the little ones, highchairs and double marshmallow baby cino's at the ready plus a reminder you can get most of their menu items as a half serve - so kids don't miss out on the delicious food either! Did we mention the excellent coffee and the crazy cool injectable syrup/parfait donuts? Yeah, well......yum.
Mamma's special mention: Mamma likes a good park pre-or post lunch - and it doesn't get much better than the Pirate Ship Park of Aberfeldie - an 8 minute drive from Ascot Food Store
