Two chef's, some chooks and some damn good food - and there you have it, Brother Hen. Found on the busy Pascoe Vale Road, this family friendly cafe looks like your small and quirky local from the front but - walk in and there is the cafe space and large dining space out back which is often used for private functions. These guys are also known for their spacious courtyard with a thriving vegetable garden and of course, their friendly little hens Dovey, Lacey and Blacky! Now lets talk food - Opened for breakfast, lunch and also dinner Brother Hen pride in providing dishes that are unique and delicious. With a seasonal menu featuring an all day breakfast, these guys have every eater covered. Try the Brother Hen’s Signature Crispy Fried Eggs or the fluffy Ricotta Hotcakes. Or, like Mamma's crew jump onto the Ricotta Pancakes with rosewater rhubarb, pistachio crumble, prana mascarpone, sliced grape, persian floss and rose petals. The chefs and waitstaff are also happy to discuss any dietary requirements and make changes where possible.
