Two chefs, some chooks and some damn good food - that’s their tag line and there you have it, Brother Hen.

Mamma first came here 5 years ago and recently came back for a revisit. It’s still the great family friendly cafe we love! There’s some seating in the shade on the footpath, a couple of tables inside then a substantial undercover courtyard with a thriving vegetable garden and of course, their friendly little hens Dovey and Blacky!

Now lets talk food - open for breakfast, lunch and also dinner Brother Hen pride themselves in providing dishes that are unique and delicious. With a seasonal menu featuring an all day breakfast and kids menu, these guys have every eater covered. The chefs and waitstaff are also happy to discuss any dietary requirements and make changes where possible.

If you are planning a celebration or event, just ask! They often hire out the back for private events. They will make the day enjoyable and fuss free.
