crown street stables cafe, flemington

Mamma loves supporting a social enterprise cafe and Crown Street Stables is one worth coming back to again and again! Not only does it assist adults with disabilities in training and career pathways, but it also serves as a community space designed to bring locals together - and you can really feel the community spirit. This gorgeous old heritage building and stables have been transformed into a community hub and cafe for all of us to enjoy! The menu is seasonal, with special like soups and hot meals in winter as well as sandwiches and good options for everyone really - including the kids. The service is friendly and the cafe itself is a great place to bring your little ones - the pram access is excellent, the facilities are fantastic with baby change table, lots of space and plenty of high chairs. There is also a gorgeous big chalkboard and now a great kids corner full of books and toys - including a cute little kitchen set up - to keep them busy! The parking is easy here and of course there is the gorgeous Coronet Park RIGHT OUTSIDE which is a huge drawcard!

Mamma's special mentions: as well as a roomy inside - the cafe has outdoor seating overlooking the Coronet Park making it perfect for some 'al fresco' dining whilst you enjoy a latte or four! There is also a loyalty card program - buy 5 hot drinks and get the 6th for free!
