Good things come to those who wait, and Mamma has had her eye on this one for a while!! After 4 years of careful preparations, Hola Lola opened its doors earlier in the year and has fast become a Mamma favourite! The delicious, unique, home-style menu was originally inspired by the tastes of owner Cecilia (“Cessy”)’s El Salvadorian heritage and has expanded to also include broader Central American, South American and Spanish delicacies (think empanadas, nachos, tamales and cheese, cheese, cheese! (with vegan and GF options too!)) The decor is rustic and cosy, the coffee is great, the wine list is thoughtful AND there’s a spacious play area for small children out the back - Mamma’s smiling from ear to ear! The owners have a genuine passion for what they do and their dedication to the customer experience is evident through any interaction with them. The vibe is that which only comes from the warmth and love of a family run restaurant. Mamma particularly loves the authenticity of the Spanish speaking staff and the fact that the Grano De Cafe coffee supplier is Cessy’s own cousin. This is the perfect spot for after school hangs, mothers group catch ups, Sunday afternoon cheese and wine, family brunch or just a casual coffee. Whatever you feel like doing, you’ll feel good doing it at Hola Lola!
Oh and babycino’s ARE FREE!
