Remember visiting Grandma on a Sunday arvo and the smell of freshly baked scones as you are walking towards the front door? Well this place is just like Grandmas!. With a warm homely feel, thanks to the draped set of old-fashioned undergarments in the front window and the wee fidgety glass ornaments scattered around the front of the store, you are sure to get the warm and fuzzies.
We love the colourful little courtyard out back. It’s full of teacups and brightly coloured furniture. Little ones often like to get creative on the chalkboard or hang with the two resident chooks. Not to mention the fabulous pink retro caravan- perfect for afternoon tea.
Now lets just chat about the sweets…….Yum! Yum! Yum! Could there be any more deliciousness on this menu. Mamma was particularly confused with which one of the sixteen flavour scone selections she would enjoy, while the little one was delighted with her ‘knee high to a grasshopper’ tea party. Yum!
Mamma's special mention: Mamma says you can not leave this place without trying the scones. They are freshly baked when you order so remember to arrive at least 20 minutes before the tummy begins to rumble. You won’t be disappointed!
Lets not forget to mention Malahang Reserve is just a 5 minute drive away and is perfect play for all age groups.
