It's NEW, it's roomy and it's full of delicious freshly baked goodness. PLUS there is an indoor playspace for the little ones packed with kitchenette, puppets, puzzles and building toys. This alone already had Mamma interested. Then there was space for prams, change tables and the perfect little kids menu filled with stacks of options. Little miss 3 opted for the gnocchi with Napoli sauce and, lets just say, by the look on her face - she loved it! Mamma enjoyed the soup of the day, served in fresh cob bread and sprinled with chorizo. It is perfect for winter and kept Mamma feeling nice and warm. The menu caters for everybody.
Pane Rustico bakes bread and pastries on the premises everyday, making it super fresh and tasty. There are options to dine in or takeaway with locals stopping in to pick up their baked goods and milk. Owners Fiona and Mary were exceptionally lovely and were happy to accommodate Mamma and her very active little 3 year old.
Mamma's special mention: Does your little one need a little run around? Queens Park is literally a 4 minute drive and a great space to play. Take the pram and go for a walk around the lake. It's so pretty. In the summer grab a bite to eat and head to the Queens Park Swimming Pool. It's small and perfect for a warm day with little ones.
