park st, carlton north

Notice anything different about Park St. of late?! This cornerstone of family dining was recently taken over by the crew who run The Glass Den and the food is just too beautiful and too delicious to believe!

The venue has everything you could need for the perfect ‘meal out with kids’ experience.

With both indoor and outdoor areas, there are lots of seating options to choose from. The back area is particularly good as it opens out on to the bike track and PLAYGROUND (yes!!!) so you can watch the kids play while you enjoy some great coffee and amazing food. It’s also dog friendly so the whole family can come along.

The really, super friendly staff are so nice and accommodating and there’s a great kids menu with lots of great options (the little one just loves the cheesy toast with gooey eggs!)

There are change table facilities AND a great selection of kids books, activities and toys if it’s not playground weather. If you’ve never been or you haven’t been for a while - now is the time for a visit!

Mamma's special mention: Have you been to The Little Bookroom on Nicholson Street? Mamma loves this place and everything it stands for. With weekly story times every Thursday, book launches and reading club for older kids. It's a great way to get the little ones interested in books and reading!
