Play Nook is one of our favourite spots for a play, coffee & healthy snack in the North and we’re so rapt that they now have an exciting range of play kits for us to enjoy at home, during lockdown and beyond! Our Insects Kit kept us occupied across a rainy weekend. We named all the insects, made shapes with the playdough and kinetic sand, set up a leafy little environment for all the critters and used the magnifying glass to get a closer look at some of the smaller bugs. This is such a big, engaging, colourful kit with so many details. The little one approached it with such wide eyed excitement!

The Space themed Mini Kit is also super cool with unique touches like wire balls, rocket ships and 2 playdough colours. There’s certainly a lot of bang for your buck with each kit option.

Each of the larger themed kits includes tubs of playdough, kinetic sand and crushed rock, animals and figurines, felt, glass gems, natural elements like bark, wood, shells & sea sponges, rocks, branch circles, pods and other bits and pieces depending on theme.

Play Nook is run by a local young family and you can tell that each kit has the seal of approval from the Play Nook kiddos! From the hand-rolled wire space balls to the carefully sanded kindling sticks, you can tell each element of these kits has been thoughtfully prepared for us to enjoy.
