What a beautiful place to explore. There are playgrounds, an off leash dog area, a basketball half court, volleyball, tennis courts, BBQ facilities, lawn bowls, bike paths or quite simply take a stroll or have a picnic. You could easily spend a day here with friends and family, in fact Mamma has had plenty of good times here with friends over the years - it is in fact a great spot for everyone to enjoy.
With plenty of magnificent trees for shade and lots of lush grass to pull up a picnic blanket the playground near the corner of Alfred Cres and Grant St has a nice elevated hilly part to perch on whilst you oversee the kids play in the fenced off playground. The fast slide here is a fave for the kids, there is a small sandpit, chalk boards and lots of options for both toddlers and preschoolers
Mamma's special mentions: Mamma says there is a great little eatery called Woodstock not far from here that serve some awesome pizza! Takeaway pizza in the park perhaps?
