When Mamma stepped foot into this place she could only expect goodness. Beginning with the warmest of welcomes and the smell of the delicious, mouth watering aromas from the kitchen, District 3429 is making its mark in the north. Ami, the owner of District Group, began the business when she was only 22 years of age and she’s been in overdrive ever since. Her passion for culture and food is evident in every bite. This place ticks every box when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine reinvented into culinary delight. Even the little ones will love it!
District 3429 is about sharing and family. In Vietnam family members each choose a dish and then everybody shares. Ami encourages this in her restaurant. There is so much deliciousness that it seems to be the only option, Mamma thinks so too.
The menu consists of some favourites like Sweet and Sour stir fry, salt and pepper calamari and pork spring rolls but we think you should get out of the comfort zone and give some others a try. Maybe the green apple and papaya salad or the twice cooked scotch fillet in plum sauce. Yum!
Mamma's special mention: District Group is made up of two family dining spaces, one in Sunbury and the other in Werribee, plus a third on it’s way in Moonee Ponds.
