Panda Hot Pot is impressive! And not only because there is a giant DRAGON on the roof!

Yes, as you step inside this awe-inspiring space, the first thing you will notice is the huge 16 metre dragon greeting you, with a colourful LED sky display behind it! Amazing. Next, you will notice how beautiful this restaurant is, with booths running up the side for parties of 4 and seating for larger groups further back (groups of above 8 go to another booth area). The scent of rich, delicious Chinese flavours will be the next thing that you will notice and that’s when you will become instantly ravenous!

Now for those of us who haven’t frequented a hot pot style restaurant before - let Mamma explain what is happening. Once you’re given the menu and the pencil, take a moment to read it properly. Then, when you get the gist, choose your soup base. This soup will sit in the centre of the table and will cook all types of delicious morsels for you. You have the option of two soup/stock bases. Next you will go to your menu and tick off with your pencil what you would like to cook in this soup (think fondue). There are lots of options but the most kid friendly are dumplings, noodles, rice, potato, and thinly sliced meat. The menu tells you how long you will need to cook them for too. Then, head to the sauce and spice counter and grab some soy, chilli or whatever else you would like to add.

This is such a great family experience, the food is absolutely delicious and you will have so much fun working your way through your meal. The perfect place to experience something a little different. Enjoy!
