Wonder Pies is the home of wonder(ful) pies. They have moved their warehouse and opened a flagship store here at Coburg North and Mamma went along for a taste of the endless plethora of pies, pasties and pastries.

There’s nothing like a bangin’ hot pie! Especially here, where fillings including cauliflower and leek, steak and mushroom, tandoori chicken and lentil shepherd’s pie make it hard to choose. If you’re keen for another kind of pastry, sausage rolls and Cornish pasties are also here.

The cafe has a window for ordering on the run, but there are also big picnic tables out the front in the shade and tables and window bars inside in the bright, clean space.

Along with wonder(ous) pastries, sandwiches, sweets and coffee are also available. The fridge stock gorgeous family pies and party packs while the freezer next door has excess stock on sale, so you’ll be able to stop for a bite and take home some dinner and dessert for the fam!
