Would you have guessed that there was a hidden garden - an oasis if you will - that is home to some prehistoric beasts? Mamma wouldn’t have either!

Oasis Berries are famous for their blueberry harvests, but they have another little treat in store, a family of dinosaurs making themselves at home on the farm. Tucked in amongst the ferns just like in Jurassic Park, your kids will uncover half a dozen giant friends. These guys don’t move however there is a soundtrack that is triggered as you enter the Dino zone.

The dinosaurs are a great little extra adventure to a visit to the farm where you can buy the freshest of fresh blueberries by the kilo (this isn’t a u-pick farm) and wander along the rose gardens, stroll along the jetty and if you are lucky (and quiet enough) you might even spot a turtle.

Steels Creek is a teeny tiny town and has a few dirt roads on the way, and this little adventure is best added to a visit to Yarra Glen or day trip into the Yarra Valley.
