ocean invaders, sea life aquarium, melbourne

There’s something so mesmerising about jellyfish! The fascinating way they move, their intriguing shapes, sizes and colour patterns and even their potential to be dangerous!

This permanent new exhibition at the aquarium - featuring 3 interactive zones - is a real treat for the eyes! It also gives an educational insight into the world of the jellyfish - the increase of certain species and the ways humans can help to slow down their ocean take over - there’s also a very cool ‘jelly lab’ where you can see teeny, tiny BABY jellyfish as part of the jellyfish lifecycle display. Mamma loves all the funny names of the different jellies like the Blue Blubber, the Lion’s Mane and the Upside Down Jelly!

Kids will love the interactive and hands-on elements, including crawling through a transparent sphere FULL of jellyfish and a touchable, wet jellyfish globe!

Mamma's special mentions: There’s also so much more to see at Sea Life Aquarium!
