This surf park is incredible. Seeing the huge expanse of clear, light blue water is stunning, amazing, beautiful… and a bit intimidating! You know that this is a playground for real surfers - but that doesn’t mean beginners aren’t welcome. There is a dedicated area for newbies (The Bays) to have a play on some gentle waves. Here only soft boards and boogie boards are allowed and there are some lifeguards patrolling - but of course remember to never take your eyes off the kiddos. There are some strong currents in these areas too. Got your own board and/or wetsuit? Save some time and money and bring them!

There is a playground for the kids, hot tubs (in winter) and an amazing cafe Three Blue Ducks which is INCREDIBLE. There are some lounge chairs and cabanas to relax on and lots of grassy areas to lay on too!

This is such an excellent place to come and surf. Sessions are generally one hour (you can also just come as a spectator) so come early to be ready for your session (make sure you get your safety briefing), and then afterwards relax on the grass and watch the fun!

If surfing isn’t your thing and you’d just like to have a swim, there are ‘Swim in the Bay’ sessions too. Santa will be in attendance Saturday 18th (10am-12pm) and Thursday 23rd December (12-2pm).

*As much as they cater for beginners - Mamma says if you have never surfed before, best to get a lesson either here or in the bay somewhere first.
