blue lake, plenty gorge parklands, plenty

We love a visit to this beautiful spot. Plenty Gorge Parklands is such a natural treasure with picturesque tree and water views, wildlife to spot, fresh air to breathe and the crowning jewel: Blue Lake!

The lake itself is still and fresh, small enough to walk around, with access to the shore from 2 different sides. This is the perfect backdrop for your family picnic or barbeque, folks have even been known to take a dip during the warmer months!

The scenery on the walk down to the lake is stunning with views of the Plenty River below, you might even see some native wildlife like kangaroos grazing in the parklands! It’s not too tricky but little legs may get tired. We manage without the pram but with a few inevitable shoulder rides!
