off the boat, reservoir

It's probably the smallest, cosiest pizza restaurant you'll find in the north, even after Mamma’s second visit it's still delicious! Off the Boat in Reservoir ticks every box when it comes to a traditional Italian vibe. Plus there is loads more - Set across the road from one of north's iconic parks, Edwards Lake Park, this place is perfect for a quick bite, take away or simply dine in.

The menu hosts a vast range of options but Mamma says it all tastes great. There is antipasti, pasta, main dishes and pizzas. Off the Boat prides itself on its homemade pasta, thin-crust pizza and mini arancini balls. Mamma especially loved pizza number 4, La Sila. Topped with tomato, mozzarella, hot salami, and porcini mushrooms. Bellissima! There is also a menu ‘per i bambini’ (just for the kids) with some all-time favourites. Little Miss 8 could not go past the fresh bolognese gnocchi. Yum! Ice cream is homemade and includes a range of vegan and gluten-free options.

The venue itself is accommodating and comfy with enough room for prams after a morning at the park.

Mamma's special mention:  Edwards Lake Park is only across the road and is perfect for the little ones to stretch their feet. Maybe a pizza and a play sound perfect for your next Sunday lunch. If you decide to dine in, Mamma suggests booking ahead.
