the courthouse, north melbourne

Date night? Girls night? Friend group catch up? Consider the newly renovated Courthouse Hotel in North Melbourne. A dashing old pub it is! Mamma was absolutely charmed by the old style, cosy comfort; the noisy diners sipping on drinks and mingling with mates; squeezing by jovial patrons to make our way to our table in the Northern wing of the establishment. Good-day sir! And how do you do!

Mamma felt like a fine gentlewoman indeed! Surrounded by sultry art and flickering candlelight, it’s just got the vibe.

Then we ordered the food. I mean - yummy, yummy, yummy! Chicken croquets with pickles, coq au vin for main and flaky pastries for dessert. Go to here (without the kids)!
