kyabram fauna park, kyabram

Zoos Victoria now has a new addition to its family, the Kyabram Fauna Park.

This park has recently been acquired by Zoos Victoria and is now under its ownership along with the Werribee Open Range Zoo, Melbourne Zoo, and Healesville Sanctuary. This exciting news means that there are already upgrades taking place at the park, with plans for expansion and renovation in the future. Hooray!

For now, visitors to the Kyabram Fauna Park can expect to see a range of Australian animals, including echidnas, Tasmanian devils, koalas, dingoes, wombats, cockatoos, emus and more. There is also a new reptile enclosure and a cafe with views over the meerkat enclosure, a signature move of Zoos Victoria. We love it!

As you enter the park, grab a map and some bags of food to hand-feed some of the animals, such as the kangaroos. This makes for a fun outing with the family, and if you are in the area, drop in and see what the latest addition to the Zoos Victoria family is all about.
