benalla splash park, benalla

Every road trip needs great towns to visit along the way and Benalla has everything, including this amazing SPLASH PARK!

If heading up through Victoria’s High Country in the warmer months of the year, you must have a stop by the lake, weave your way down through the terracotta artworks to this perfect place for a water play.

Everything is nicely spread out, meaning the kids can run around easily without bumping into one another, PLUS the water strength varies allowing the toddlers - as well as the bigger school kids - to join in on the fun. Mamma’s kids LOVE the tipping water bucket that drenches all who dare to wait underneath. There are also archways to run through, mushroom shaped fountains that’s fun to crawl under and plenty of water shooters to aim at your siblings!

Alongside the splash park there is a bouldering wall for climbing, a wooden playground, a few picnic benches and plenty of shade to make a home base.

Mamma's special mention: Benalla is a great country town and has it’s own outdoor art gallery - we lost count on how many murals we spotted while driving through the centre of town!
