the keys leisure centre, preston

Picture this - a re-imagined vintage bowling alley, with wood panelling, led lighting, retro bowling shirts and neon lights. There’s a bistro, arcade and Mamma’s favourite, a photo booth. This place will take you and the little ones back to a time when the 50s boasted everything cool.

The Keys in Preston is open to the public! This all-in-one Leisure Centre is taking on the north in a new and exciting way that only the north know-how.

Bowling varies in price depending on the day and time you want to play. Kids under 12 bowl for a flat rate of $12 every day from open till 7 pm. You can hire shoes for the play but Mamma says to chuck on your sneakers and have a game in comfort.

The Bistro offers gutter snacks. These beauties will keep your tummies full while playing. The chicken poppers were little miss 7’s favourite with a cheesy juicy crumb that was just delicious. There is also a selection of pub favourites and pizzas. The Keys also offers a huge selection of local craft beers on tap and tasty cocktails. The bistro has ample space and is perfect for large groups. Take a seat by the open fire, play a game of pool or head out into the huge open beer garden and enjoy the sunshine.

The Keys is also the perfect way to celebrate your little one’s birthday. With party options that cater for everyone. This will definitely take you back to your own 7th birthday at the local bowling alley. That’s pretty cool!
