It's one of Darebin's oldest establishments and has been an icon of the area for eons. It's a place where families have traveled to, to try or buy some of the areas best cuisines and produce and at bargain prices. The Preston Market - it's also Mamma's happy place. The core of this market is everything multicultural from the community with top quality produce, meat, deli items, bakery goods, clothing and more. The market boasts over 120 stalls to choose from with some of the original stall holders having set up shop here over 45 years ago and they continue to be owned and operated by the same families. Oh and Mamma says they also run a kids corner, often having fun activities on weekends.
